seeking elevation My name is Lisa Harvey.  I’m an American expat, born in Massachusetts and raised in South Florida.  In the past ten years, I’ve lived in Florida, Massachusetts, New Orleans, Venezuela, Kenya, Abu Dhabi, back to Florida, and Hong Kong (where I currently live).  I’m tired.

1. Why did you move abroad?
After I broke up with my boyfriend in 2001, he moved to Egypt.  I thought that was the most interesting thing he’d done  since I’d met him, so I followed him over there.  Some time during that six-week vacation, I fell back in love with him and in love for the first time with life abroad.  We returned to the States so I could get my master’s degree and then took off for good.
